Privacy

We build cabinetry, not advertising profiles. We collect the minimum needed to answer you, build your order, and deliver it — and we don't share it with anyone beyond the services that make those three things work. Effective July 2026.

The short version

• We never sell or share your information for marketing. No ad networks, no data brokers, no third-party analytics.
• We collect only what an order or inquiry actually requires.
• Payment details go directly to Stripe — we never see card numbers.
• Our website analytics are self-hosted, aggregate-only, and cookie-free.
• Everything has a deletion schedule, and you can ask us to delete sooner.

What we collect, and why

Inquiries and consultations. When you request a quote or a design consultation — on our site or through an AI assistant — we receive what you send: your name, how to reach you, and what you're planning. We use it to reply. That's the whole use.

Orders. A component order carries your name, email, phone if you give it, a delivery address, and the specifications of what you ordered. We use those to confirm the order, collect payment through Stripe — at checkout on the web shop, or by emailed invoice for AI-assistant orders — build it, and get it to you.

Text messages. If you text our business number — usually by tapping a "Text us" link on our site, which opens your own messaging app — we receive your mobile number and message so a person can text you back. It's a two-way conversation you start: we never add your number to a list, never send marketing texts, and never share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with anyone for marketing — not third parties, not affiliates. Message frequency varies with the conversation, and message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help, or STOP to opt out.

Payment. Invoices and payments are handled by Stripe. Card and bank details go to Stripe directly; they never touch our systems. Stripe's own privacy policy governs what they hold as a payment processor.

Verification codes. Ordering through an AI assistant uses short-lived email codes to prove the address is yours. Codes are stored hashed and expire in ten minutes.

Website analytics. We run our own Plausible Analytics instance on our own servers. It counts visits in aggregate — no cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, and the data never leaves infrastructure we control.

AI assistants. If you talk to Kiso through Claude, ChatGPT, or a similar assistant, your conversation belongs to that assistant's provider under their terms — we never see it. We receive only the specific requests their tools send us (a configuration to price, an inquiry to deliver, an order to record), and this policy covers that data the same as if you'd used our website.

Our commitments to your privacy

We will never sell your personal information — not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone. We will never share it for marketing or "partner offers." We will never run third-party trackers, and we will never build profiles of you. Your information exists in our systems for exactly one reason: so we can build what you asked for and stand behind it. We treat your information with the same care we bring to the work.

The services that help us run

Four providers process data on our behalf, each strictly for its job: Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery), Stripe (invoicing and payments), Google Workspace (our business email), and Twilio (text-message delivery for our business text number). Each is bound to process your data only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep things

Your choices

Email us and we'll show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — honored for everyone, regardless of where you live, with the sole exception of records the tax and warranty laws require us to keep for completed orders. There are no accounts and no passwords to manage; there's nothing to unsubscribe from because we don't send marketing.

Changes and contact
